What is an Aromatherapy Nebulizer?

Aromatherapy and essential oils are used by many for their wondrous properties – they are anti viral and antibacterial and are also scientifically proven to encourage healing and also induce a variety of emotional and mental states.  They are able to promote well-being through a holistic form of therapy which stimulates the immune system encouraging it to resist disease, improve the circulatory system, reduce water retention and alleviate pain.

Direct inhalation is said to be the best way to benefit from an essential oils properties and an aromatherapy nebulizer provides the optimum conditions for this to take place.  An aromatherapy nebulizer diffuses aromatherapy oils by using air pressure generated by a compressor to vaporize them which allows only the finest particles of the essential oil to escape; these condensed droplets are then nebulized again resulting in ionization of the oils.  Through doing this the essential oils are broken down into their smallest components for the user to directly breathe in the oil which is then diffused around the room in which the nebulizer is placed for lasting effect.

An aromatherapy nebulizer fills a much larger area with essential oils than a traditional oil burner can; they are also safe to be left unattended with some being able to be programmed with specific timed cycles in which flow can be adjusted.  When using a traditional burner the heat alters the state chemically of the essential oils breaking them down whereas an aromatherapy nebulizer maintains the essential oil in its finest form.  Alongside this, aromatherapy nebulizers are more efficient as a much larger amount of the essential oil is used and the droplets produced are of exceptionally high quality.  In the long term an aromatherapy nebulizer will prove to save you money as oils become longer lasting as they are more effective with a longer air borne suspension.
